Recording of times, costs and user defined data for each step.
Automatic calculation of process times and costs, to help evaluate process changes. Automatic costing flow through subprocesses.
Vertical and horizontal "swimlane" grouping, to analyse flows between departments.
User definable variables
Full menus or simple menus to allow use by even unskilled employees.
Automatic logic checking to ensure the accuracy and consistency of documentation.
Automatic line drawing and automatic line re-routing to accommodate layout changes.

In addition, indexed, cross referenced, printed documentation for the process can be produced automatically from the flowchart, in Word or Intranet format.
